Opening your ShedVerse File

This article assumes you have already installed FileMaker onto your computer, or downloaded FileMaker Go from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad. If you have not already installed FileMaker onto your computer, please do so prior to opening your file (here's how).

To open your ShedVerse file (from a laptop/desktop):

1. Open FileMaker
2. On the top of your screen (Mac) or the top of the window (Windows), choose File
3. Go to Hosts
4. Choose Show Hosts (Image 1 below)
5. Click on the + icon to add a host
6. Type fm.ronsquality.com in the host internet address (Make sure you do not have http:// at the beginning or a / at the end.) (Image 2)
7. You will receive a request to put in your credentials for your user account (this logs you into the server)
8. Click on your file (you should see your company icon)
9. You will receive a 2nd request to put in your credentials for your user account (this will log you into your file)
10. If this is your first time logging into your file, you will be requested to set up your own unique password, please do so.
11. You should now be in your File successfully!

1. Open FM Go
2. Go to Hosts at the bottom right corner
3. Click on the + icon to add a host at the top left corner
4. Type fm.ronsquality.com in the host internet address (Make sure you do not have http:// at the beginning or a / at the end.) (Image 2)
5. You will receive a request to put in your credentials for your user account (this logs you into the server)
6. Click on your file (you should see your company icon)
7. You will receive a 2nd request to put in your credentials for your user account (this will log you into your file)
8. If this is your first time logging into your file, you will be requested to set up your own unique password, please do so.
9. You should now be in your File successfully!
