This article will take you through how to update FileMaker
Update Requested Upon Login:
- Occasionally, you will receive an update request from FileMaker telling you that there is a new version is available and asking if you want to perform an update
- Before you complete the update, check with your administrator to make sure that ShedVerse has given the "go ahead"
- Click the Download Update at the bottom right corner of the popup window
- Enter your device password to download the update
- FileMaker will install and relaunch
Update Available Without Popup
If you have been notified by ShedVerse that an update is available, but you did not get a pop up when you logged in, follow these steps
- Go to Help in the top menu bar of FileMaker (Top of Computer Screen on Mac, top of Window on Windows)
- Choose Check for updates
- A pop up will tell you about new updates
- Click Download Update
- Enter your device password to download the update
- FileMaker will install and relaunch
