How to Complete a FileMaker Update

This article will take you through how to update FileMaker

Update Requested Upon Login:

1. Occasionally, you will receive an update request from FileMaker telling you that there is a new version is available and asking if you want to perform an update
2. Before you complete the update, check with your administrator to make sure that ShedVerse has given the "go ahead"
3. Click the Download Update at the bottom right corner of the popup window
4. Enter your device password to download the update
5. FileMaker will install and relaunch

Update Available Without Popup

If you have been notified by ShedVerse that an update is available, but you did not get a pop up when you logged in, follow these steps

1. Go to Help in the top menu bar of FileMaker (Top of Computer Screen on Mac, top of Window on Windows)
2. Choose Check for updates
3. A pop up will tell you about new updates
4. Click Download Update
5. Enter your device password to download the update
6. FileMaker will install and relaunch
