This article will take you through creating a Google Places API.

By enabling this API, Google addresses will autofill while typing in ShedVerse.

Setting up a Google Places API:

  1. After logging into your Google account, go to Google Console Cloud
  2. Click Select a Project at the top of the screen
  3. Click New Project
  4. Name the project ("ShedVerse" will work!)
  5. Click Create
  6. Confirm you are on the correct project
  7. Use the search bar to search for Places
  8. Click Places
  9. Click Enable
  10. Copy the API key
  11. Click Go to Google Maps Platform
  12. Click Maybe Later

You have now successfully created the Google Places API key

NOTE: Paste the Google Places API key from step 10 into the Credentials section under Notebooks in Teamwork and let the ShedVerse team know that you have completed this task.
